Country superstar Dolly Parton has postponed her six December shows in Las Vegas, Nev., due to her doctors’ suggestions that she should undergo a series of medical procedures this fall.

Parton announced the date changes in an Instagram post, explaining that her health challenges will not allow her to rehearse or perform “the show that you deserve to see.” She acknowledged that fans pay high prices to attend her concerts, with TMZ reporting that resale for Parton’s shows is around $1500 per ticket.

Parton emphasized that she does not plan to quit or stop working, rather temporarily “slow down,” according to her post.

“Live in Las Vegas: Dolly” will return to the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in September 2026. According to Parton, fans who have already purchased tickets will be able to use them to attend next year.
